How many sq ft does one unit cover? Used to auto-calculate quantities in estimates.
Optional: price estimates by square-footage tier or a flat itemized list instead of the default per-sq-ft rate model above, or add itemized/one-off extras on top of the rate model. Leave unset to keep using rates alone.
Shown to clients before each output type below.
Shown as "View full terms" link at the bottom of every disclaimer modal.
Applied to every new schedule.
Note: the week view currently shows each day as a stacked list rather than an hourly grid, so working hours aren't visually greyed out yet — this setting is saved for when that view is built.
Printed on every invoice as a "Pay by check" option. Leave the address blank to hide it.
Shown in the header of every invoice. PNG or SVG recommended.
Auto-attached as a reference to W-9 request emails sent when tax is toggled off on an invoice.
Customers pay from a secure link on the invoice email. Bank (ACH) costs you about 0.8% (capped at $5); cards cost about 2.9% + 30¢ — steer large jobs to ACH.
Surcharges apply to credit cards only. Debit, prepaid, and ACH payments are never surcharged.
The surcharge is never more than the rate above or your actual card cost, and is skipped automatically when the job is in a state that prohibits it. Not legal advice.
Leave both dates blank to export everything. Columns import cleanly into QuickBooks or FreshBooks — in QuickBooks, use Banking → Upload transactions, or Bookkeeping → Transactions → Import.
This calculates the tax rate for the address where work is performed. Whether you're required to collect tax in a given area is a separate question — check with your accountant if you're unsure.
